SIERRA MADRE MARILAQUE│Same Road, Same Rider, Different Machines

Marilaque or Sierra Madre, whatever they call it, Google named it Marikina-Infanta Highway. That pace is called biking haven for riders where you can enjoy different levels of excitement of riding on the the twisty mountain road. Boost your eyes with the beautiful scenery too where lies ahead along the highway are high class hotels, restaurants, and mountain resorts to stop over and spend your day for relaxation. To name some, you'll find there Mang Vic's Bulaluhan, Sierra Madre Hotel, Kafe Katerina, Pranjetto Hills, Frank's, Jariel's Peak and many more. Been riding in that road for almost a decade now on motorcycle. Recently, I gave a try riding through the hills on my mountain bike. It was a long ascend but endurable and most importantly, enjoyable. Here is the video of my mountain bike ride in marilaque. And here is how i do it with my motorcycle.

Shotgun with Friends of X-bikes

Got to ride along with Friends of X-bikes to one of the highest in elevation and challenging cycling destination in San Mateo, Rizal, Philippines. The road named Shotgun, located around 26 km North East of Manila is where you can find many cyclists gather around and crave for that heart pumping climb. Many desire to take the challenge but only few can make it to the top without making a stop in the middle. The reward, a nice view of the city and an exhilarating ride down the hill.
Adjacent to it is another popular biking and trekking destination, Timberland Heights, where you can find All Terra Eco Trails created and rated by IMBA for mountain bikers of different skills and riding discipline.

Dirt Jumping Marikina

I was passing by the bicycle lane along the riverside of Marikina City when I saw these local dirt jumpers doing their thing. I was so amazed, so i picked up my camera and started recording videos. I haven't talked with them so i don't know their names. Well that's me, a less talkative bunny hopper. But anyways here are the videos I took during their jumping session... Forget about the photo above it's just me.

A Newbie Mountain Biker's Impression

I bought my first ever true bicycle on January 2014. It's cheap and not popularly branded mountain bike but riding it gave me lots of fun that's too much for the price. Mountain biking is an addictive hobby/sport and i'm loving it now aside from my motorbiking enthusiasm. Here's a short compilation video of my mountain biking experiences on the summer of 2014.
